Support The Reckoning: A Powerful Call to Action

Dash Arts is proud to present the world premiere of The Reckoning, a bilingual documentary-style drama that shares the untold stories of those affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine. Running at Arcola Theatre in London from 29th May - 28th June, this raw and emotional production is based on real testimonies from survivors of the Russian invasion. Created by Josephine Burton and co-writer Anastasiia Kosodii, the play explores the bond between a journalist and a Ukrainian survivor navigating a war-torn town, grappling with themes of survival, justice, and peace amidst destruction.

Thank you to the generous partners and donors who have made The Reckoning possible so far: The Reckoning Project, AHRC Impact Acceleration Account Award from the University of Cambridge, Public Interest Journalism Lab, Open Society Foundations, Nick Tranter in the name of 4Ukraine Humanitarian Aid, Fritt Ord Foundation, Goethe-Institut in Exile, Goethe-Institut London, SAV Group, The Golsoncott Foundation, and individual giving.

Thanks to the generosity of our donor community, we’ve already raised nearly £150,000 to bring The Reckoning to life. We're now aiming to raise an additional £25,000 to fully fund the London run and lay the groundwork for an international tour.
