Uilleam Blacker is an associate professor of Ukrainian and East European culture at UCL. He has written about Ukraine for the Guardian, the FT, the Atlantic, the TLS and others. His translations of Ukrainian writers have appeared in, among others, Words Without Borders, White Review, the Guardian, Modern Poetry in Translation.
