Josephine Burton is a theatre director, playwright, dramaturg, and podcast host, and the co-writer and director of The Reckoning. She is Artistic Director of Dash Arts, known for creating thrilling, cross-artform work that breaks borders and brings unheard voices centre stage. Her productions have featured at the Barbican, Kiln, Southbank Centre, Coventry City of Culture and across Europe. Josephine also hosts the acclaimed Dash Arts Podcast. Her work—often integrating music, verbatim material, and lived experience—has been praised by The Observer for “stretching the vocabulary of the stage.”
