Future
The Soviet Series
We are currently embarking on our next Series: an artistic journey through the diverse lands, people, stories and cultures of the former Soviet Union. From October 2012 we will be traveling to the major cities of Russia, the Caucasus, Central Asia, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine, meeting and working with theatre, dance, music and visual artists.
Out of these journeys we will create a series of new work across the art forms in collaboration with artists from the region, that will tour London and the UK in 2015.
Building up to the series, our Dash Cafés will continue to enthral and enlighten with a mix of gigs, discussions, films and performance in the informal bar at Rich Mix in the beating heart of East London. Starting in September 2012 there will be a Dash Café on the first Wednesday of every month that will shed new light on the lands of the former Soviet Union - as they were then and as they are now.
